A man in his 40s has died in a road crash in Co Cork.
Emergency services attended the scene of the incident involving a heavy goods vehicle on the L3633 Church Road in Ballycotton on Thursday at 3.30pm.
The driver of the vehicle died at the scene.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) was notified and attended.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
The victim has been named as Michael Gerard O'Donnell of Mitchelstown, Cork
